the day that never came
was the day we all went insane
when the rivers stopped crying
and the sun just rolled away
bohemian grotesque images
wondered all over the inside
of the eye, as cats
ran away purring on
“his master’s voice”
muttered songs we’re shouted
and everyone obeyed
unknown orders of panic and dismay
as silent streets turned
bloody and grey
final gong of this play
was knee-wrote [...]

alone and forgotten
dwell on my right hand
white pieces of paper
covered with messy
scribbled memories
rejoice on my
broken down
weathered desk..
the coffee cup
silent in the corner
blows steam at the cat
sleeping on the window still
and silence
fills the room
with dusty
butterflies
it’s now time
to sleep and dream
the days that passed
people left behind
watching them wave
as my train pulls out
quiet and muted
on a distant platform
childish

to pass me by

a silent mutiny
in the still of the night
of one edge
of one point
of my border
with the universe
move along
the watchtower verse
and return
